Equation Recruitment is working on behalf of a leading commercial finance consultancy to find a talented Account Manager. This role is ideal for those with experience in telesales or client-facing sales, particularly within the finance sector or a brokerage environment.

The Role:

Develop and maintain strong client relationships through telesales, social media, networking, and trade events.

Offer a range of financial solutions, including asset finance, commercial loans, invoice finance, and property finance.

Analyse financial requirements and relevant documentation to provide tailored funding options.

Prepare compelling proposal documents and funding applications.

Conduct background research on prospects before engaging in discussions.

Maintain professionalism and compliance with financial regulations and fraud prevention measures.

Work collaboratively within a team of Account Managers and Sales Support professionals.

What Were Looking For:

Essential:

Experience in telesales or client-facing sales (not general high street retail).

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Proactive and target-driven mindset.

Ability to analyse financial documents and provide tailored solutions.

Self-motivated with a consultative approach to sales.

Desirable:

Previous experience within a finance brokerage.

Knowledge of asset finance, invoice finance, or business loans.

Understanding of FCA regulations and financial compliance.
